Hi Kara! Thank you so much for sharing!! Can you tell me how much time you spend on this each day? I love the idea but it seems like these daily activities would take me 15 min. and I just don't have that much to spare in IB. I've used songs for years but would love to do it as a consistent, bellringer type activity sequence next year. Let me know your thoughts on time commitment. Thank you and have a great summer!!
ResponderEliminarHello! I have 85 minutes classes every day, so I spend about 10-15 minutes (sometimes more) on these activities. And I sometimes extend it to be "Song of TWO weeks" - lol! Also, sometimes, I simply use a song as a unit. Vendo pan (free and linked above) is a Spanish 1 unit and #Idiota was a unit for Spanish 2.
EliminarBut I will say, this is one of THE most powerful things that I do with my students. They are highly engaged AND they acquire a TON.

Sometimes the songs ARE the unit!
